Amman, June 6th: Al Manhal, the only full-text searchable platform for Arabic eContent, signed an agreement with Birzeit University, which gave it copyrights of its publications. This step will add to the enrichment of Al Manhal’s extensive platform which stems from numerous publishing agreements with well-renowned universities, academic and scientific centers, and publishing houses.
The agreement was signed by Doctor Khalil Al Hindi, University President; and Mr. Basheer Al Nasser, General Manager of Al Manhal. Mr. Al Nasser stated that Al Manhal’s mission is to ease the exchange of valuable knowledge and ideas between publishing and research institutes in the Arab region, which is essential for the nationwide developments. He also added that it is a pleasure for Al manhal to sign such an agreement with a reputable institute, which will allow it to add a number of trusted scientific publications of the university on its platform.
This agreement brings Al Manhal to develop ties with a fine institute in the scientific and academic fields of higher education, which will aid the company in its mission to maintain its status as the leading ePublishing company. Birzeit University, a Palestinian institution supervised by the Independent Board of Trustees which decide policy and assume its responsibilities.
